EPISODE 3: MENTAL HEALTH

This episode, Lucy and Smug are joined by Professor Dawn Edge (Professor of Mental Health & Inclusivity and Academic Lead for Equality Diversity & Inclusion, University of Manchester) and Chris Madden (Counsellor & Psychotherapist) talking about their work, the effects the pandemic has on people’s working lives and practices, and the opportunity that the downtime has given us to think about inequalities in light of Black Lives Matter.

Join Lucy Burke, (Co Investigator at D4D & Principal Lecturer at MMU) and Smug Roberts (Actor, Comedian and Broadcaster) for 4ofUs, an intimate chat show for the socially distanced…

Our two hosts meet two special guests to talk about life, lockdown and their hopes and fears for the future. Dialing in from their homes and workplaces, these are the stories that rarely make the news.

Each episode features people whose work or personal experiences have placed them at the heart of an unfolding global crisis. They might be the people most at risk from Coronavirus, from medical staff on the frontline to carers and teachers. Or the people whose lives and work have been disrupted or transformed forever.
